The gain is 30dB flat with push button selectable attenuation up to 16dB and selectable pre-slope of up to 12dB across the 950-2150 MHz band. This makes the DY40 useable as both a high launch Head End amplifier and a low gain repeater type. Cascading these devices allows you to overcome large negative slope effects on old or small diameter type cables.
The most critical factor in limiting the size or performance on large networks is the isolation between trunks and across the terrestrial to satellite guard band. The DY40 addresses these limitations by boasting an isolation figure of 40dB (typical). This makes the DY40 the amplifier of choice when distributing challenging signals from large dishes or final distribution from GTU’s.
Need a similar amplifier for 8, 12 or 16 polarities? Simply join more DY40 amplifiers together by using the lateral push-fit ‘power’ ‘f’ connectors together to expand accordingly.
